Iroko TV CEO, Jason Njoku reacts following the tragic passing of Nollywood actor, Junior Pope as he faults inadequate healthcare system in Nigeria.
Recall that yesterday, a heartbreaking news surfaced about Junior Pope’s horrific and untimely death after he drowned in a river in Anam, Anambra state.
In a live Instagram session, Stanley Ontop, a crew member of the late actor, claimed that Junior Pope was brought to a hospital but the oxygen supply was insufficient for his emergency care, and the doctor pronounced him dead.
Jason Njoku responded by lamenting the condition of Nigeria’s healthcare system.
According to him, anyone living in Nigeria is essentially in the hands of God if anything emergency medical-related occurs.
He wrote: “Just know, when you are living in 🇳🇬. Anything emergency medical-related that happens, you are essentially in the hands of God.”
